Silicon Wire Bondable Resistors
The high thermal conductivity of the silicon substrate provides for higher power ratings and lower thermal resistance values than comparable resistors built on alumina.
Silicon resistors are available in termination types A (top surface planar), D (top surface planar with metal back), and F (back contact) with gold or aluminum finish. Configuration varies with resistance value.
